Health’s Ups & Downs

It’s been quite a long while since I’ve posted anything to this site. Too much going on in my real life to take time to put it down into words. Cirrhosis, Hep C, Renal Cell Carcinoma, COPD, Seizures, and the list goes on & on. What do you do when there is so many different diseases that the doctors don’t even know what symptoms belong to what disease. Which is complicating the others? Simply, they give up and toss you to the winds and fate. That is the truth. Lots of medications which also contribute their own side effects. What a up and down journey my life has become. I struggle and struggle and still keep going. But what or who decides that one’s life is easy and anothers is nothing but trials, tribulations and pain. Thankfully I learned from my Father that you just keep on grinning and bear with it. BUT, life can be at times so very, very exhausting and tiring. I know that there is others that can relate with their own life paths in this similar vein. Anyhow, awake and up and can’t sleep. Silence surrounds me and I’m in my own little cocoon. I miss social interaction with people that are healthy. If you are sick, they seem to fade by the wayside. They do not want to be reminded of their own mortality. Anyhow…surgery awaits me in the future to remove my tumors and to see how far the cancer has spread beyond my kidneys. God give me grace to vault over this next hurdle and come out relatively normal on the other side…..once again. Thank you for your grace in the past. I am not a viligant Christian. I have too many mixed views of all different religions and have developed rather my own philosophy in this regards. So, listen and have mercy on my soul. I’m here for the long haul. How ever long that may be. Take care all. *HUGS*

Okay, so we’ve all made it through the obligatory Thanksgiving celebration. Nevermind that it’s prefaced on a lie, that’s okay right? We now just use it as an excuse to stuff ourselves silly and groan about it afterwards. Tell others that we are giving “thanks” for whatever lame excuse we can come up with and then forget about it as soon as it’s uttered. Life is so sweet.

In reality it’s now just fodder for the body so it has something to run on when all of us women are fighting and pulling out each other’s hair in the Malls and shopping centers the next day. I know if I hadn’t had that 3rd helping of stuffing I would never had been able to keep up with the frenzy of the best shopping day of the year.

Okay, I’m lying. I don’t do the Mall thing on Black Friday. Good Lord, the name is enough to keep me away! But there’s plenty that do.

So now the Christmas buying spree has lowered it’s net over everyone’s head and the race is on. Buy so and so what they don’t really need. Spend lots of money that we all don’t have. Run up the credit cards to the top of your limit (if you haven’t reached it already in this economy) and Ho Ho Ho – Merry Christmas!

The third and final one is New Year’s! Whoopee!! Time to make all of those resolutions that none of us keep, ever. Actually I think it’s just a time for everyone to get smashed on their faces so they can forget for one night how much money they spent for Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Years celebrations.

The 3 wonderful Holidays. Time to show all how much you can give to everyone, spread joy and happiness, be thankful for what you have. Or for those that really like to get high and get to have an excuse for it 3x’s in a little more than a month. I haven’t quite figured it out yet.
